Besides James Perse, my next favorite designer for super-high quality basics is Inhabit NY. I have 4-5 Inhabit cashmere sweaters, and 4 Inhabit cotton sweaters that I really live in during cooler months. They’re fabulous for layering, and come in really great “neutral” colors. Canadian eco-friendly designer, Elroy Apparel, has marked everything on the site down 25% for Winter clearance. Elroy designer, Leanne McElroy makes most of her designs with a combination of organic cotton, soy, and spandex for a super-soft and feminine look, and produces everything in Canada.
