I mentioned before how much I love it when my favorite brands add more eco-friendly options (Inhabit NY, C&C, Splendid…) and now, James Perse has joined in on the fun! Yes, in the past, he’s had some organic cotton options, but now, he’s doing a mix of cotton/recycled cotton in a few mens & women’s styles. I’m particularly obsessed with these:

They’re a blend of 70% conventional and 30% recycled cotton, so they’re not “perfect,” but something is better than nothing and this is definitely a step in the right direction.
I’ve mentioned this before many times, but in addition to James Perse, Inhabit NY is my next favorite designer. I wish both of them did more in organic cotton, but hopefully it will come soon, but in the mean time, Inhabit does sometimes have a few pieces available in organic cotton, and luckily right now, they’re on sale!
The tee is $48, tank is $42 and the long sleeve tee is $48 – they’re more like woven tees instead of the “normal” tee you’re used to, but they’re really fabulous, and hold up well (I don’t have any of the organic cotton pieces, but the conventional cotton has always held up nicely for me.)
