Can you tell it’s almost earth day? The deals are getting better & better…
I’m not one to encourage over-consumption, but if you need to replace your old sandals, why not consider some vegan sandals by Cri de Couer, or snag some super-useful BAGGU bags for yourself, or for friends & family gift-giving? For a limited time, Endless.com is offering $25 off your order of $125 or more qualifying earth-friendly shoes and accessories from brands like Simple, Groundhog, Camper, soleRebels, Ocean Minded, U Roads, El Naturalista, Jambu, Cri de Coeur, Olsen Haus, Ipath, Terrasoles, BAGGU, Envirosax, Matt & Nat, and ECO Sunglasses.

I’ve raved often enough about my BAGGU bag (can’t live without it) and seriously, how cute are those sandals? they give any mainstream brand a run for their money, AND they’re vegan, AND they’re carbon neutral. ’nuff said.
Okay…so I love my blue sparkly TOMS flats, but I’ve also been taken in by the awesome styles & colors of Bensimon’s canvas flats. They’re both vegan, although I’m not sure anything can compare to TOMS mission to donate one pair of shoes to a child in need for every pair sold…
Which do you prefer (they’re both around $55)?

What do you think? Do you have a pair of TOMS? Or Bensimon flats? Do tell!!

Vegan shoes are getting easier to find all the time (especially online), but vegan AND cute shoes – not so much. They’re out there, but I still think a lot of the larger vegan/eco-friendly shoe lines (Payless, Simple, etc.) design more for function than for fun, and therefore neglect a large part of their potential market: the vegan woman who loves fashion (like me – and maybe you!).
Not so, Form and Fauna. Designed by a former yoga instructor, Form and Fauna shoes are as fashion-friendly as they are eco-friendly. Produced in the US, all the shoes are made from sustainable materials and the highest quality synthetics. No wonder they’re consistently featured as one of the better eco-footwear companies today!
Check out some of the most fashionable styles at the Olio United Trunk show this week, where they’re also marked down (until Saturday). My favorite pair is the Cleopatra wedge; how beautiful would these be with a lovely teal dress??

I have to admit, that I’m really not a fan of Steve Madden’s shoes – I mean, I generally like the looks (although they’re usually knockoffs of other designs), but they are SO UNCOMFORTABLE. I have owned several pairs of Steve Madden shoes over the years, but stopped buying them about 5 years ago because I was fed up with how much they hurt – in spite of being cute.
But I really can’t resist loving these vegan shoes by Madden Girl – I like the wood platform, the color, and how chic are the studs? The best part though (besides being vegan) is that they’re $55. Yes, Virginia, you CAN get vegan shoes for under $100

Maybe I’m wrong about the comfort of Steve Madden shoes – maybe they’re not so bad anymore – maybe they’re worth a try again? Anyway, this pair is available at Luna Boston if you’re so inclined, and you can use coupon code “grechen” to save an additional 20% off $55.
