Use code NIXXI40 and DEUXFM40 for 40% off all Nixxi & Deux FM pieces at Nimli through 12/22. Both of these designers create great not-boring-at-all-basics made from organic cotton/bamboo/soy & other fabrics. My favorite is this silk dress by Deux FM, which would be $110 after the code:

If you haven’t checked out Olio United since their re-design, you MUST! They don’t have a lot of items back up yet, but they have added a great Portland Designer section with some AWESOME pieces by Heather Treadway. All of her pieces are handmade in Portland, and this Taos dress (my favorite) uses a reclaimed quilted panel at the top.

Definitely check out the video about Heather (she’s super-cute) and use code “springlove” for 20% off at Olio United through 6/30. Go Portland
I know I’ve mentioned Cosa Verde before, but it’s worth talking about again…if you’re at all intimidated by Etsy, or at least find it exhausting to browse, Cosa Verde takes some of the work out for you. Cosa Verde connects independent designers with environmentally-conscious consumers (me & you) through a cute, easy-to-browse interface that ultimately links to the sellers Etsy store for buying.
I found this lovely bag through Cosa Verde from seller tortillagirl: French Lace Bag constructed in cotton canvas with floral hand-cut unbleached lace appliqué stitched (no glue, ever) onto front. Double interfaced. Unbleached cotton lining. Interior patch pocket with lace detail.

I’m a huge fan of Crystlyn Kae‘s vegan & eco-friendly handbags (check out our interview with her), and am pleased to share with you that she’s offering the Metier tote for about 30% off ($99) through April 15. My favorite is this orange one, which is vegan, waterproof, and the perfect tote for work or school:
