Okay, so now you want to win one?! Here’s how:

One visitor will be chosen randomly after Sunday, August 9, 2009 and notified by e-mail.

Multiple ways to win – each one counts as one or more entries; do one or all of them, but remember to leave a comment after each RT and twitter, facebook, or blog entry. THE ONLY entries that count are comments (I assign each comment a number, then use random.org to select the winner). If you do not leave a comment here after each entry, you will not get credit for that entry.

Follow BTC Elements on twitter! (they post a different deal-a-day with an exclusive twitter code…totally worth following!) Please leave a comment here again once you do so your e-mail will be counted again.

Leave a comment on this post telling me where you’d like to wear this bathing suit (vacation destination, pool at home, etc.)

Leave another comment with your favorite item from BTC Elements

Tweet about the contest on twitter with a link to the contest page (use the button at the end of this post). Come back here and leave a comment with a link to your tweet so I can add your extra entry. (you can RT the contest more than once…but you’ll max out at 5 extra entries for tweets…and that will also count as an extra entry – just remember to leave a comment back here every time you do)

Subscribe to blog e-mail updates (an e-mail will come the morning after new blog posts are published – no new posts, no e-mail!)

Must Have: Organic Cotton Long Skirt

by grechen on February 20, 2009 | SUBSCRIBE | TWITTER | FACEBOOK |

I have a thing for long skirts and long dresses – mostly because my calves are my least favorite part of my body, but also because they’re so easy to wear. You don’t have to worry about crossing your legs just right, or getting out of cars amid screaming fans and paparazzi without flashing them (oy!) like you do in a shorter skirt. Long skirts are flattering on nearly everyone, and can be an essential in a casual wardrobe.

This one, by Raw Earth, Wild Sky at BTC Elements, is my new favorite. I love the “mermaid” cut and the diagonal stripes (VERY flattering – especially if you have hips and a butt like me) – and it’s made from organic cotton jersey, so it’s super-soft, and lightweight:

Use Coupon Codes to Save Green in 2009

by grechen on January 2, 2009 | SUBSCRIBE | TWITTER | FACEBOOK |

All the super-mega-sales of the holiday season are pretty much over (we may see a few new year’s sales here and there, but for the most part, that’s it for the super sales), but that doesn’t mean you have to stop saving money! Here at greengrechen.com, we’ve got the hook-up with more than 20 coupon codes for eco-friendly boutiques and designers, some exclusive to greengrechen.com, so you can purchase your favorite eco-fashion at a discount all year.

I’ll be featuring different code every week, but you can always check the coupon codes page for the full list. For now, take another look at BTC Elements, where you can save 20% with code “grechen.”

I am currently obsessed with this glasses case made from vintage kimono fabric:

And how cute are these soy/hemp tea towels? I love to have pretty things in my kitchen, it’s so small and cluttered, that nice things here and there somehow make up for the lack of space…
