Must Have: Kusha Corn Fiber Tote

This is a very interesting tote, to say the least…I ran across it browsing the Cooper-Hewitt Museum’s design shop and have to admit, I’m intrigued. The tote is made from “polylactic corn fiber” which is 100% biodegradable, and produces no toxic gases when burned. And you can compost it when you get tired of it…

At just $52 it’s quite a steal compared to lots of other eco-friendly bags – but I’d be interested to see how it looks full (and how it holds up) and how it looks on before buying. Anyone have it? :)

If I were looking for a deflated pumpkin pinata to wear on my arm, I’d be all over this! LOL :)
