Ooohh! Great bags! My fave is the Japanese Paper-Jorja Lg in Coffee-Brown. Wish they had the large one in pink though! I love it’s shape and style :)

Yoonmee October 20, 2008 at 8:55 am

My favorite is the Japanese Paper Portishead in grey.

Jennae @ Green Your Decor October 20, 2008 at 10:15 am

As much as I love the Japanese Paper look, I am really loving the Portishead Feutre in gray and black. The look is sophisticated and versatile, and definitely big enough for all the “stuff” I tend to have in my purse. And it would complement so many outfits, I could truly make it my guilt-free, everyday purse. :) Love it!

Susan October 20, 2008 at 10:27 am

Love the Portishead Feutre. Lots of storage room to tote around all my things and the style is chic enough to use at the office or go shopping without looking too hippy.

JENNIFER LEE SCHILLER October 20, 2008 at 11:27 am

I AM HUGE BAG COLLECTOR. GETTING ONETING I HAVE NEVER ONE IS BESIDES ANYTHING. BUT EXSPCIALLY A BAG.

katie October 20, 2008 at 1:17 pm

I really enjoy the styling of the Sade clutch. I think that the hardware being in copper really makes this bag stand out. The clutch looks like it would hold all the things I’d need for a night out.. lipstick, money, credit cards, makeup, etc and it’d do it with style.
Both colors are great — magenta for that pop of color with a little black dress or the grey as a versatile neutral with any outfit.

Tisa October 20, 2008 at 3:24 pm

GREAT giveaway! ~ :) Lol – who can have enough handbags? My favorite is the Jorga Large Feutre in grey! Such a classic look yet so classy too! ~ :) Thanks!

Lisa October 20, 2008 at 4:50 pm

I am a big fan of Matt & Nat bags. I currently have the Portishead Feutre and Kali Magenta. My fave style if I had to choose is the Portishead. It’s versatile bag for everyday use and it’s such a unique style. I get compliments everytime I use the bag. You also can’t beat the fact that these bags are vegan friendly!

Stacy October 20, 2008 at 8:58 pm

I really like the zipper and hardware on the grey bag. The other great thing is that these bags don’t look particularly different than most handbags – most “vegan” bags I have heard of are just canvas bags. These are much more beautiful, obviously!

Erin October 20, 2008 at 11:37 pm

It’s hard to believe purses so gorgeous aren’t real leather! All of the M&N bags I’ve seen are absolutely beautiful, wish I could afford one! The large jorja in black is probably my fave on the site; I love the japanese paper look and the size and shape are perfect. Although that sade clutch is a looker as well.

JRG October 21, 2008 at 6:58 am

I like the Sade Clutch in Grey; I would love to give that to my beautiful wife!

bonnie byrne October 21, 2008 at 8:41 am

The Jorga in pink, as I love anything with a handle and pink is my fav especially in October.

CMC October 21, 2008 at 9:20 am

I love the Jorja large in Coffee Brown. Perfect color for fall, and the size would hold everything but the kitchen sink!

Julie MacDonough October 21, 2008 at 9:28 am

the bags on the website a beautiful. they have nice profiles and with very natural tones with interesting notions. the materials used are animal friendly. very nice.

Rachel October 21, 2008 at 12:41 pm

I really like the red bag. I really need to add some color to my wardrobe so this would be a great addition. I also like that it isn’t really tiny like a lot of bags are. I got a lot of stuff and need a place to put it all!

Jennifer October 21, 2008 at 1:02 pm

I really love the Jorja in pink. Here’s why:
1. It gives you that fantastic pop of color that every girl needs in her wardrobe.
2. It’s great for pairing with an outfit for a night out, but practical enough to play office accessory by day.
3. It’s vegan quality makes it much more than stunning – it’s also smart. It’s not hard to be “fashionable”, but to be earth and animal conscious, innovative, and still sexy — now that’s fashionable!

Christina October 21, 2008 at 1:23 pm

I love the Japanese Paper Sade style – the zipper details rock! It looks like high fashion finally meets sustainability! The material and design is very modern, finally bringing cool to “wearing green”. Love it!

Carlo Morin October 21, 2008 at 4:32 pm

I love the bag designs different and unique. These would make an excellent gift for Christmas. I especially like the Zebrano Feutre design on the website.

cindy janisko October 21, 2008 at 4:43 pm

I love the Dylan Long Speedy. Just my size!

Candice Caldwell October 21, 2008 at 7:50 pm

It’s hard to find style-worthy vegan bags! Often the vegan alternative is fabric or (worse) a PVC/plastic base, which is not good for the environment OR your style quotient.

But Mat and Nat make vegan easy. I saw these at Saks in July and they were right at home with all the big names. The pink is definitely eyecatching – a classic “statement” color. Style-wise, the jorja wins my heart – it’s the perfect size with just enough detailing to make a statement without screaming. Awww, she’s just so pretty and so good to save that leather!!

Barbara Young October 21, 2008 at 9:21 pm

Not exactly a pink person, but the others are quite nice. They are visually well ballanced. The zippers are a fine touch.

Bebemiqui October 21, 2008 at 11:22 pm

I like the Sade Clutch…fits my personal style.

I found my favorite bag immediately! Hands down it is the Portishead Feutre in grey. The reason I love it is a little superficial… but it’s because it matches my favorite work outfit – black pinstripe pants and a grey sweater I’ve had for a few years. :-) Maybe I’ll buy it after my next paycheck…

maquel October 22, 2008 at 1:42 pm

I love the Japanese Paper-Jorja Sm. I just can’t decide which color is my favorite. The pink is so cute, but black would go with everything. Anyway, this is a great line!

Ingrid October 22, 2008 at 2:18 pm

I really like the Large Japanese Paper-Jorja in coffee brown. This bag is totally different than any other bags that I have seen lately. It would be a welcome addition to any womans wardrobe.

bianca October 22, 2008 at 3:02 pm

I like the pink one for every day use, but the grey one is wicked cute for a night out!

bianca October 22, 2008 at 3:04 pm

in other news … why hasn’t this bag called me to say that it wants me to adopt it http://www.stefanibags.com/por-pcket-shpper-2??? we were clearly meant to be together!!

Chelsea October 22, 2008 at 3:58 pm

I am extremely fond of the Jorga Large Feutre. This bag seems to have a very feminine, yet armor like feel to it reminescent of something in the time period of Joan of Arc. It’s masculine archetecure has just the feminine touch and perfect color scheme to be the perfect bag for fall.

The simple fact that it’s made vegan makes this bag my prime pick for favorite since I’ve been vegetarian, and have had an animal free wardrobe(including leather) for over three years now.

Abby October 22, 2008 at 4:27 pm

The portishead is my favorite it is a great shape!

Nettie October 22, 2008 at 9:00 pm

I think my favorite is Jorja in Pink. It’s an awesome accent color & is sure to get plenty of attention. It’s the perfect size for the office or a night on the town. Truly a bag you can strut your style in!

Valerie Mitchell October 23, 2008 at 1:08 am

Love the portishead feutre bag – very cute – especially the little zipper pockets :)

annie October 23, 2008 at 3:58 am

I absolutely love the Jorja in that hot pink color! I’m ready for a “fun” Matt n Nat bag since the one I have is from a few years ago and is a simply classic black bag. It’s my everyday bag and I get tons of compliments on it—even from people who usually buy leather (aka dead cow) bags! As a vegan, I am so glad that these fabulous bags seem to be hitting the mainstream and are now carried in department stores.

sandra kao October 23, 2008 at 8:22 am

my favorite is the large japanese paper-jorja in black since it’s big enough to carry my stuff plus that of my 2 kids (one still in diapers). and i love black!

Sara A October 23, 2008 at 12:00 pm

Wow, these are gorgeous, and vegan is great. I particularly love the Portia Pcket Shopper in the dove color

Charlotte Winters October 23, 2008 at 1:00 pm

I like the Zebrano Feutre bag the best. Thanks for the contest.

Heidi Todd October 23, 2008 at 1:19 pm

The japanese paper portishead in coffee brown is timeless. No wonder it is down to limited quantities already.

Allison October 23, 2008 at 1:21 pm

My fave is the Jorga Large Feutre – classic yet stylish, and simple but professional. Can translate easily from day to night and fit all that you need for either! I also like the short handle.

Grace October 23, 2008 at 1:28 pm

My favorite Matt & Nat bag is the Zebrano Feutre. I love the bold contrast on it. The Jorga Large Feutre is really gorgeous too. I love how big and versatile it is. I used to work for a boutique that sold Matt & Nat way before they rose in popularity. I loved getting a discount on them, but they have risen in cost so much that I haven’t been able to afford a new one in years. It would be awesome to win one. I love that this is a vegan line. It makes me feel good about carrying the bag. All of my friends can’t believe Matt & Nat bags aren’t real leather!

Tammy October 23, 2008 at 2:43 pm

I love the Japanese Paper-Jorja Sm.

Julie October 23, 2008 at 3:46 pm

I so want a bag from Matt and Nat
As it will not be made from cow or cat

Using items that people normally trash
Is an ingenious way to make some cash

Your designs are gorgeous, unique, and bold
I just found out about you and I’m already sold

To choose which purse I would like to own
Is causing me stress and making me moan

All your purses have such style
I’m sure your business will be around for a while.

grechen October 23, 2008 at 4:59 pm

omg, Julie – I love your poem :-)

Lana October 23, 2008 at 5:56 pm

I love their Japanese Paper-Jorja Large tote in dark brown. Great style!

Kathy Vallee October 23, 2008 at 7:28 pm

My favorite would have to be the by Matt & NatJapanese Paper-Jorja it is very beatutiful!

Dale Louderback October 23, 2008 at 11:26 pm

Jorga Large Feutre is nice

Valerie Furr October 24, 2008 at 7:23 am

What great looking bags what a treat it would be to own
one of these. I love the Japanese Paper-Jorja not the
shiny one. Thanks for such a great contest.

Tara Becker October 24, 2008 at 5:37 pm

As a vegetarian, I am happy to have found this site, the Matt & Nat bags are very stylish and I can be comfortable knowing they are vegan and not leather. I like the Zebrano Feutre bag, it has all the features I look for in a bag. I like the two-tone, especially because it is angled, not straight, and there are many details, like the zipper pockets, the adjustable shoulder strap, copper rings, etc. I love interesting details and colors in a handbag, that is what draws me to a particular bag.

Cori Westphal October 24, 2008 at 9:44 pm

I really like the Black Japanese Paper Jorja bag. I really like the crinkled finish and from what i can tell, there aren’t a bunch of organizers and pockets. I can’t be that organized. I prefer one big space to dump all my junk! Thanks for the great contest!

Cori Westphal October 24, 2008 at 9:45 pm

I’ve also subscribed. Thanks!

Naomi October 24, 2008 at 11:25 pm

The Japanese Paper Fifty-Five, stole my heart away instantly. I love that this bag is eco-friendly too.

Eileen Tien October 25, 2008 at 5:14 pm

Lydia Satchel by Cynthia Rowley in red is my favorite. It’s so pretty and I love the color!
