And I’m conflicted. I’ve mentioned this dilemma before…but today, I’m just going to sit it out. Yes, there are TONS of coupon codes for amazing eco-boutiques and brands, but I really don’t want to contribute to the idea that Earth Day is another consumer holiday (which it is) by posting all of them. Today shouldn’t be different than any other day, we should think about how ethical and environmentally friendly the products we buy are EVERYDAY, not just on the “official” day. I really try to encourage that here at Green Grechen, but I feel like if I post all the sales and coupons, I’m just feeding into the hype. Know what I mean?
Thanks for understanding ![]()
and please, enjoy the earth today.

My sentiments exactly (wrote about it on the Sherp too)- particularly when I struggled to find something to actually do for the planet on earth day, but was so inundated with sales and deals and coupons that I just deleted them. Definitely feels like a consumer holiday, which totally absolutely completely misses the point of earth day.
