Although I encourage you to shop locally, and/or with independent designers, sometimes the best places to find vegan handbags are stores like Urban Outfitters & Topshop. They work hard to produce on trend items at affordable prices – which means that shoes & bags are produced in PU as opposed to leather. I won’t get in to whether PU is eco-friendly or not (it’s definitely up for debate), but if you’re a vegan, your options are quite limited…most “vegan leather” pieces are PU.
Topshop US is really one of my new favorite places for shoe/bag shopping because I love their utilitarian, current pieces. Especially this bag – can you imagine carrying it all weekend, or for work or school? At $70 it’s not cheap, but it’s a good price for a vegan handbag that you’ll want to carry constantly:

I’ve said before, I’ll say it again, when it comes to jewelry, the simpler the better is my taste. But simple definitely doesn’t mean boring; it’s minimalist, but interesting. Like Caitlin Mociun’s new jewelry collection. I’m simply obsessed with every single piece, but this hexagon bracelet is what I NEED right now:
Everything is handmade in NYC.

I used my beloved Chanel Vamp nail polish (which is 3-free, by the way) on Friday, and it started to chip yesterday. I keep trying to just peel it off because I hate nail polish remover, but it’s not Sula!! (see my video review here – it really does peel right off!)
I love these smaller sized nail colors; you can get more colors for less $$:

One of my favorite eco-fashion bloggers, Janette from Fashion Loves People, recently launched her own line of 100% organic cotton tees:
• printed with vintage fashion illustrations by J. Kirk Davis
• proceeds go to Not For Sale, a hands-on nonprofit fighting human trafficking
• ethically made in Peru
• printed in the USA with eco-friendly inks
And today (2/12) ONLY, they are all only $20!!
Don’t you love the tribal motif + fashion illustration?
