This is sooooooo me:
It’s by Leroy & Perry, the eco-friendly line by Lutz & Patmos, and available at Bows + Arrows. Luckily, Bows + Arrows is local to me, so I can check out the line in person.

It’s rare that you’ll catch me wearing anything other than black/brown/white/navy clothing (well, except yesterday); I can really work my neutral pieces! And honestly, I’d rather carry a bright bag with an otherwise neutral outfit, than wear color on my person. When I do wear/carry color, my favorite is orange – or some variation. So this hemp/cotton lined dress by A Fortes TOTALLY speaks to me…
Available at Kind Boutique for $152. Made in Portland, Oregon

I’m not sure I’d take this to the beach (I only take things I don’t mind getting ruined with salt water & sand), but it would still be wonderful for a Summer bag. I’d use it as an everyday bag or a laptop bag, but it would be a great picnic “basket,” pool tote, or carry-on.
Made by Hoakonhelga out of recycled leather and vintage fabric. 100% handmade in Canada.

I’ve written about Alpinestars before – I think they’re the best faux leather jackets you can buy. The designs are awesome, because they design for actual racing teams! And the prices AMAZING. Now, there’s a small selection of vegan leather motorcycle jackets on Daily Candy’s sample sale site, Swirl (you have to sign up for entry) for $69 and $89.

There are quite a lot of higher-end sweatshirts and t-shirts (a la Isabel Marant) popping up lately, but not many in organic cotton AND made in NYC by an independent designer. This roll-up tee (you know you want it!!) by NYC designer Kaori Yamazaki is perfect – and I love how it’s styled with the khaki pleated skirt and flat sandals:
