November 11, 2008
I’ve written extensively about eco-friendly handbags, and those articles have included some vegan bags, but this time, it’s all for the vegans; no leather here. Vegan doesn’t have to mean “leather alternative” in every instance, but there are some very good leather-looking bags out there. Don’t forget about canvas, hemp, recycled candy wrappers, [...]

I have never really been a jewelry girl. Diamonds, eh (that’s why I got Moissanite). Bling, not my thing. I’ve always preferred understated, simple, and rustic jewelry. Exactly like Bario-Neal’s.
I actually stumbled across Bario-Neal about a year ago when they first started out as Rust Belt, and fell hard for [...]

One of my favorite eco-chic designers, Kate D’arcy/Toggery Collection, has just launched a new “luxurious online organic fashion boutique” featuring, you got it, designs by Kate D’Arcy. Actually, the boutique will be carrying items from other eco-friendly designers, but in Kate’s own words:

(originally posted at Grechen’s Closet)
I LOVE LOVE LOVE the mission behind TOMS Shoes, but can’t help wishing the shoes were cuter. They’re not as bad as Crocs (can anything be??), but I can’t get my grandfather’s house slippers out of my head whenever I see these:
Personally, if I had the money, I’d buy ten pairs [...]
