Today through Friday, shop at Fashion Philanthropy and 100% off their profits from your purchases will go to Help for Haiti, a non-profit group dedicated to helping earthquake victims. I love this cardigan wrap sweater by Indigenous Designs; keep yourself cozy this Winter while helping earthquake victims at the same time? yes please!!

(also, if you text “Haiti” to 90999 on your cell phone, you’ll automatically donate $10 to the Red Cross via your phone bill)
So sorry I’m a day late posting this (I’m in the depths of packing and getting ready to move – tomorrow- to Austin) but there are still some great deals left at Park Vogel. Most of the sweaters are sold out, but I would have recommended the organic cotton tees & tanks anyway. I have three of the bra camis from the last HUGE sale that I love to pieces. It’s the softest cotton ever, and the fit is wonderful (I took a size 3). This time, they have organic cotton crew-necks, turtlenecks, and v-necks marked down to less than $20, many less than $15 (all are final sale):

Through tonight, at midnight MST, use code “thirtyoff” for 30% off sale & regularly-priced items at Stewart + Brown. If you don’t know already, they’re organic pioneers, consistently producing wearable, quality garments from organic cotton and other eco-friendly fabrics.
This Merino Wool vest is my favorite piece right now (everyone needs a fabulous belted sweater vest. really) in the collection, and it would be $179 after the code:

This merino wool dress is also fun – great for layering:

Happy New Year!! I’ve had a very busy few weeks and unfortunately, Green Grechen has taken a hit in posts (sorry!), but I’m almost back in full force – I’m moving to Austin, Texas this Friday – and featuring fabulous eco-fashion & deals again.
Part of why I took a little time off was because my fiance’s son was in town for a week and we tried to do some fun things, including a trip to my FAVORITE place EVER, the Georgia Aquarium. Seriously, I went to Sea World over the Summer and it pales in comparison with the Georgia Aquarium, in terms of exhibits at least. I love the Beluga whales, and the Whale Sharks are amazing. But my absolute favorite animals at the aquarium are the stingrays. When I was younger, I used to spend forever at the stingray petting pool at Sea World while my family would do other things. They are so beautiful and regal; I love to watch them fly through the water. This time, I found out they had a couple of new manta rays – I think this is the only aquarium to rehabilitate mantas – and I was fascinated:

Anyway, this is all as a segway to my must-have of the day, this Stingray ring by Alkemie jewelry made from reclaimed metal:

Check out some more pictures from my aquarium visit after the jump…I hope you enjoy!
