Alternative Apparel already had a great eco-friendly collection of organic cotton tees & tanks, but they’ve also got something new called “Eco-Vertigrain” which is material made from a blend of organic cotton, recycled polyester, and naturally occurring rayon combined with traditional fibers to create a “vintage-looking” eco-friendly sweater. They kind of remind me of my beloved Inhabit cotton sweaters, but eco-friendly, more “worn-in,” and way less expensive!!

If you haven’t checked out Olio United since their re-design, you MUST! They don’t have a lot of items back up yet, but they have added a great Portland Designer section with some AWESOME pieces by Heather Treadway. All of her pieces are handmade in Portland, and this Taos dress (my favorite) uses a reclaimed quilted panel at the top.

Definitely check out the video about Heather (she’s super-cute) and use code “springlove” for 20% off at Olio United through 6/30. Go Portland :-)
