I’ve been thinking about picking up a pair of these Marais ankle boots for a while now, and just my (and your) luck, that Otte NY is offering 20% off everything (through People Style Watch) with code PPLSW09 through 11/26.

These Oxfords are also very nice – they’re made from canvas, and would be $68 after the code:
Happy Shopping!
Gretchen & Grace
Gretchen & Grace is offering 30% off with code FALL30 through 11/1. There are too many things I’d love to have to list here, but at the top of my list is this organic cotton henley by She-Bible (it would be $47 after the code):

Thieves
The newly launched online boutique for Thieves designer Sonja den Elzen is chock full of her most amazing creations, and just for you, they’re offering 10% off using code “greengrechen” through 11/30. I seriously love everything in the shop, but if I had to choose, I’d go for this Tioga wrap in tencel wool jersey, made in Canada. It’s available in sizes up to XL and in quite a few colors:

I was in love the moment I saw the dalby jean jumper…It’s made from recycled denim by Portland independent designer anisa makhoul of Makool Loves You:

Available in all sizes, up to XL, this dress is only $112, and would sooooo cute with tights and a turtleneck underneath.
I have a love/hate relationship with leather jackets: I love them on others, but have never really liked them on me, and I definitely hate the price. Faux leather jackets are a good alternative, both in terms of price, and animal-friendliness, but I’ve really never been able to find many I’d even consider wearing. But now that eco-fashion is on par design and style-wise with conventional fashion, there are many more options available, and faux leather (polyurethane) is actually more eco-friendly than I thought:
Polyurethane faux leather is a greener alternative to PVC (vinyl) and leather. PVC contains chloride and does not biodegrade. It leaches toxic additives in landfills and emits carcinogenic dioxin when incinerated. Leather production is linked to large amounts of water pollution from waste, and the process of tanning uses numerous chemicals, including heavy metals. Naturally soft and flexible, polyurethane does not require the solvents used for softening PVC and leather. (from Brentano Fabrics)
also: “Polyurethane is biodegradable and is designed to deteriorate after usage”
(**edited** Unfortunately my favorite vegan leather jacket wasn’t really – the picture displayed on the website wasn’t the actual vegan jacket, it was the leather jacket. Oops. I’ve removed it from this list.)

Now that my hair is getting longer, I think I might be able to pull-off a cute head band, or even something like this hair band by Stewart + Brown:

Not that I mind wearing hats to keep my ears warm, but as an alternative, this would be cute, no?
