**this contest is now closed**
Happy Monday – that means it’s time for another fabulous giveaway! This week, Cosa Verde is giving away two Keepsake Necklaces by pica pica (one necklace to two winners, one will be filled, and one will be empty for you to fill with your own keepsake):
I’ve always loved glass jars of all shapes and sizes, but I especially love the teeny tiny ones (which are antique glass vials originally used to hold pocket watch parts) like the ones Liz uses on her Keepsake Necklaces. There’s just something about these small glass vials that makes them more special – like they could hold a secret.
Check out pica pica on Cosa Verde along with other green, independent designers handpicked by Liz and her partner to be featured on their site. I love Cosa Verde because it’s a tightly curated, only eco-friendly “portal” to etsy; it makes shopping for locally made, independently designed eco-friendly items SO much easier than just doing a search. And everything featured at Cosa Verde is just as cute and interesting as these keepsake necklaces.
Okay, so now you want to win one?! Here’s how:
Two visitors will have a chance to win two keepsake necklaces – one filled and one empty. The contest will close this Sunday, July 26 and winners will be chosen randomly.
Multiple ways to win – each one counts as one or more entries; do one or all of them:
Leave a comment on this post telling me what you’d put in your keepsake necklace. Do you have a special little object you’d want to keep in this lovely glass vial?

Ooh I love those! I think I would put a piece of purple abalone shell into the vial that I found at the beach in May.

Squee! I love tiny stuff! I have a ring of my mother’s that got squished beyond repair that would fit perfectly into the vial (pretty squished, eh?). That way I would never lose it. <3
Also – RTed and following you on Twitter. :3 I was waffling on it before but finally gave in. I’m totally one of those Twitter people that worries I’m stalking too many folks!

What a great idea! I would put fallen cat whiskers in it…they are supposed to be lucky. I always find them and have nowhere to keep them!

That necklace is so cool and my wife would kill for it. I know that she would put sand and mini-sea shells in it to represent her love of the ocean.
I have always loved these little vials. That said, if I won, I would fill the vial with silver nuggets (I recently had my original wedding band set melted down into nuggets) to keep them close to my heart.

I have a lock of my baby hair from a first hair cut, and a small crystal, and a tiny pressed 4 leaf clover I found as a child. Maybe I would put one or all of those in a bottle.
I’m Cosa Verde fan number 100 on Facebook. Woot!
I think I’d put one of my boy’s baby teeth in it. I can’t believe he was ever that small…
I will probably put something like an origami crane in there – if I can fold it that small. I also blogged about your giveaway:)

robotpilot is my name.
it’s hard to be sure what i would put in it unti i feel the scale in my hand, but i think that i would put a bead from a broken necklace my grandmother gave me years ago (when it was still whole.)
I would put in the silver heart charm my dad gave me. I’m always afraid i’ll lose it so having it on a necklace would be perfect.
