Must Have: EcoKate Facial Cloths

I featured these before when I introduced Eco-Etsy’s March Madness event, but I thought they deserved their own post today! EcoKate makes these lovely hand-crocheted organic cotton makeup removal cloths to replace disposable cotton cloths:

It’s such an insanely simple idea, but a great one. I’ve actually been using a few kitchen cloths my Aunt hand-crocheted for me months ago and they are amazing! They’re way better than regular kitchen cloths because they have some texture to them you can use to get dried on stuff off, and reach into crevices. I use them to clean the kitchen counters, the glass dining room table, cabinets…and when I’m done, they go in the washing machine with the other towels.

These little guys by EcoKate would replace I don’t know how many disposable cotton pads for makeup removal (I wonder if they’d work for nail polish removal? the nail polish would probably be very difficult to wash out…). She also makes other sizes and shapes for a variety of uses.
